1954 Plymouth Savoy
This 1954 Plymouth Savoy is an unrestored survivor and has an actual 48,000 miles. It was purchased new by three Nuns in Connecticut and driven sparingly until the last of the three Sisters passed away in 1982. At that point a Massachusetts car collector bought it, drove it for one month and then stored it away for the next 27 years. I bought the car in 2009 and brought it back to running condition with rebuilt brakes, new battery, new tires, engine tune-up, clutch adjustment and a bit of tender loving care. I have driven it about 4,000 miles since I bought it – only in the spring, summer and fall – it sits in my garage during winter. This car runs and drives perfectly and is a great entry-level collector car. The only issues are a non-functioning gas gauge (I fill up every 150 miles) and a sticky L.F. turn signal bulb (it has an intermittent short). The body is entirely rust-free except for a spot on the driver-foot area where a wet floor mat caused some minor (non-structural) perforation. This Savoy isn’t too valuable to drive every day and yet it isn’t something you’ll see on every street corner! I am asking $8,000 or best offer. I am also open to full or partial trades for 1964 vintage 426 Race Hemi K-heads, cross rams and other 1964-specific Hemi parts. 1962 FORD F-100 Longbed Custom Cab
My Speed / Barrett-Jackson pal Matt Stone is selling his Ford pickup truck.
